Baffin Island and Greenland: Iqaluit to Kangerlussuaq
Eleven nights on the Ocean Victory from Iqaluit, Nunavut, to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The line's itinerary sails out through Frobisher Bay, spends a day walking the tundra of southeast Baffin Island, explores Cumberland Sound, where old whaling stations stand and the line watches for polar bears and belugas, and visits Panniqtuuq (Pangnirtung) under the mountains of the Cumberland Peninsula. After a crossing of the Davis Strait it spends three days on the west coast of Greenland, then Ilulissat and its icefjord, and ends with the long run up Kangerlussuaq Fjord. The trip starts in Ottawa and ends in Toronto, with charter flights to Iqaluit and from Kangerlussuaq sold on top.
