Heart of the Arctic: Nuuk to Iqaluit

Twelve nights on the Ocean Victory from Nuuk to Iqaluit through three Inuit regions: Greenland, Nunavik in northern Quebec and Nunavut. The line's itinerary begins in Nuuk and its fjord, Nuup Kangerlua, crosses the Davis Strait with Inuit cultural educators aboard, and calls at Kimmirut, known for its marble and carving, and at Kinngait (Cape Dorset), where the West Baffin Eskimo Co-operative began Inuit printmaking. Two days follow on the tundra of the Ungava Peninsula and a visit to Salluit, then the murre cliffs of Akpatok Island in Ungava Bay, where the line watches for polar bears and walrus, before the southeast coast of Baffin Island, Frobisher Bay and Iqaluit. The trip starts in Toronto and ends in Ottawa, with charter flights to Nuuk and from Iqaluit sold on top.
