Out of the Northwest Passage: Kugluktuk to Kangerlussuaq
Sixteen nights on the Ocean Victory eastbound through the Northwest Passage, from Kugluktuk, Nunavut, to Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. The line's itinerary spends three days in the Kitikmeot Region, runs Ikirahaq (Bellot Strait), stops at the Franklin expedition graves on Beechey Island and gives two days to Tallurutiup Imanga (Lancaster Sound) and Devon Island, watching for polar bears on the ice and walrus on the floes. It visits Ausuittuq (Grise Fiord), crosses from Smith Sound to northwest Greenland, and ends with Ilulissat, the Sisimiut coast and Kangerlussuaq. The trip starts in Yellowknife and ends in Toronto, with charter flights sold on top.
