Isabela Route

A 6-day Galápagos cruise aboard Cachalote Explorer, calling at Isabela, Fernandina, Isabela, Santiago, Bartolomé, North Seymour. This compact route begins on Isabela, where Galapagos giant tortoises, a flamingo lagoon and the relaxed streets of Puerto Villamil introduce the archipelago at island level. Over the following days, Cachalote Explorer travels through the volcanic west: black lava at Moreno Point, mangrove channels at Elizabeth Bay, land iguanas at Urbina Bay and the immense marine iguana colonies of Fernandina. Snorkeling at Vicente Roca and around Bartolomé may bring Galapagos penguins, sea turtles, rays and reef fish into view.
