Mexico Sardine Run in Magdalena Bay

Six nights snorkelling and freediving the sardine run off Magdalena Bay, the second largest in the world, from mid-October to January. Board at SeeCreatures Cabo at 4:30 pm and sail up the Pacific coast of Baja overnight; a warm-up day at the south end of Margarita Island, then four days out on fast boats and pangas with the bait balls, working alongside local captains who have moved from fishing to tourism. Afternoons can be spent scuba diving or ashore on the dunes; disembark in Cabo at 8 am on the last day.
