Ocean Safari: Whales, Mobulas, Orcas and More
Seven nights in the southern Sea of Cortez, April to August, built around in-water encounters rather than dives: each morning an ocean safari by fast boat to find the mobula schools, the orcas that hunt through the Cerralvo Channel, the dolphin mega-pods and the whale sharks, with the ship following so there is no clock and no fuel gauge to turn back for. Sites include UNESCO Isla Espiritu Santo, Las Animas and Isla Cerralvo; certified divers get three or four dives across the week, and kayaks and paddleboards are aboard. Check in at SeeCreatures Cabo by 4:30 pm for the included coach transfer to the ship in La Paz, and disembark in La Paz at 8 am with a transfer to a La Paz hotel, San Jose del Cabo airport or SeeCreatures included.
