Zambezi Queen on the Chobe River

The Zambezi Queen is the flagship of the collection, a 42 metre houseboat working up to 25km of the Chobe River inside Chobe National Park on the Namibia and Botswana border. Fourteen balconied suites face the water and the upper deck carries the dining room, bar, lounge and a plunge pool. Guests watch the park's birds and game from tender boats, with guided fishing, a photographic boat and a village visit included. Ichingo Chobe River Lodge, also part of the collection, is used as a land stopover. Dates and rates are confirmed by the travel advisor: the line quotes, invoices and takes payment in South African Rand, so the dollar figure here is a converted estimate rather than a quote. The figure shown is the lead-in Suite rate for December to February; March to November is higher, and the Luxury Suites are higher again.
