25 Fontes Levada Hike in Rabaçal – Small Group
The 25 Fontes Levada Walk (PR6) is one of Madeira’s most famous and beautiful hikes. Starting in Rabaçal, the trail takes you through the lush Laurissilva Forest and alongside Madeira’s traditional levadas – historic irrigation channels that carry water across the island. Along the way, you will discover rich native vegetation and beautiful natural scenery before reaching the highlight of the hike: the famous 25 Fontes lagoon, where numerous natural springs and waterfalls cascade down the rock walls into a beautiful lagoon.
