Adventure on Ice: MiniTrekking in the Perito Moreno Glacier

Prepare for a unique and unforgettable experience in the majestic Los Glaciares National Park. Once at the "Bajo de las Sombras" port, you will board a boat to cross Lake Rico, arriving on the opposite shore after approximately 20 minutes of sailing in front of the imposing southern face of the Perito Moreno Glacier. Upon disembarking, you will be greeted by our expert mountain guides, who will lead you to a cozy refuge with a privileged view of the glacier. From here, the trek begins! We will start the tour with a walk along the lake shore, keeping our eyes on the glacier to ensure we don't miss the opportunity to witness calving. Next, the guides will give a talk on glaciology. The glacier circuit is of medium difficulty; the ice surface is uneven but firm and safe. During the walk, you will be able to appreciate a variety of typical glacial formations such as deep crevasses, blue sinkholes, enormous seracs, and turquoise lagoons.
