And the best place to see a wonderful sunrise is from the top of Poon Hill in the Annapurna Mountains. Poon Hill is famous throughout the world for its magnificent sunrises. The Annapurna Range is one of the most beautiful of all the mountain ranges in the Himalayas. This is not a high elevation trek, with the maximum elevation being at Poon Hill (elev. 3221 m/10,568 ft.). It is considered a moderately easy trek. It begins in Pokhara and ends four days later at the spectacular lakeside city where you can enjoy all of the luxuries of Pokhara.
