Discover the rainforest after dark on a two-hour guided hike at Mirador El Silencio, near Arenal Volcano. Traverse the forest trails with an expert local naturalist and look for free-roaming nocturnal wildlife, such as red-eyed tree frogs, insects, spiders, snakes, sleeping birds, and mammals. Your guide will explain animal behavior, rainforest ecology, and conservation efforts, helping the group observe wildlife safely and respectfully. Flashlights are provided.
