Basaltic Prisms: A journey to the volcanic origin of the desert
Our experience goes beyond visiting an attraction: we walk, observe, and discover the landscape of the Zapotitlán Salinas semi-desert together. During the tour, our guides share local knowledge about the plants, rock formations, landscape, and other elements we encounter on the way, while answering visitors' questions and helping to better understand the environment. We like each tour to be an opportunity to know the territory from a close and community perspective, respecting the flora, fauna, paths, and spaces we visit. It's not just about getting to the Basalt Prisms, taking a picture, and going back; it's about stopping to observe, learn, and enjoy the journey.
