Bioluminescent Plankton Canoe and James Bond Island Sunset
The highlight of this tour happens when other tours have already gone home. After sunset at Hong Island, you paddle by canoe into dark lagoon caves where the water lights up with bioluminescent plankton. Every stroke of the paddle leaves a trail of glowing blue sparks. Most Phang Nga Bay tours never stay late enough to see it. The day builds up to this moment: the white temple Wat Kanan, the Beyond Skywalk glass bridge, James Bond Island in quiet late-afternoon light, a seafood lunch in the stilted village of Koh Panyee and a hidden sea cave. Then the sun goes down, the bay goes dark, and the Andaman Sea starts to glow. Air-conditioned transfer from all areas of Phuket, a Russian-speaking guide, meals and insurance are included.
