Explore an extensive network of enormous caves filled with natural crystal formations. Float by tube through hidden chambers few visitors ever see, then wade and swim through crystal-clear pools and follow winding paths to dazzling crystalized walls, towering columns, and ancient Maya pottery fragments. After a scenic 25-minute walk at your own pace, you’ll reach the cave entrance and can take a refreshing swim in clear, spring-fed water. Your guide will then help everyone onto their tubes and lead you through Xibalba, the Maya underworld, pointing out sparkling crystal formations along the way. You’ll drift past an underground waterfall before emerging at the cave exit, then continue floating downstream to the parking area. Afterward, relax with a well-earned siesta.
