Drangarnir Wildlife Tour
This is the coastline of Vágar you can’t see from the road. Sail from Sørvágur with a local skipper who knows exactly where the seabird colonies sit. We bring the boat in slowly and close, so you get a proper look at puffins, guillemots and kittiwakes on the cliff ledges, and at grey seals resting on the skerries. You’ll see the Drangarnir sea stacks and Tindhólmur islet from the water, the way most visitors never do, and stop beneath Skarðsáfossur, a waterfall that drops from the cliff edge and is best seen from the sea, since the land above is private. With no more than 12 guests per boat, there’s room for everyone to move around, take photos and ask questions. Your skipper shares stories about the fjord, its wildlife and life in this corner of the Faroe Islands for generations.
