Etna North half day excursion
Discover Etna with our half-day excursion: are you ready to experience an extraordinary adventure on Europe's highest active volcano? The excursion starts in an SUV or minivan (up to 8 people), along with our expert guides. Our first stop will be a walk in the Ragabo forest up to the lava front of the 2002 eruption. Starting along Via Mareneve, immersed in the Ragabo pine forest, we will arrive at the starting point of our trek to the Monti Sartorius craters. A route of about 3km, starting at 1650m and reaching an altitude of 1750m, a walk for everyone. We will then explore a lava tube, the Thieves' Cave, equipped with helmets and torches. The perfect itinerary that in just half a day will allow you to discover unique landscapes, eruption stories, and underground wonders, guided by the passion of someone who lives the volcano every day.
