Magical New Year’s Eve Celebration in Lapland - Rovaniemi

Leave Rovaniemi for an evening of Lapland flavours, Finnish New Year traditions, winter activities and a midnight celebration at Kätkävaara Wilderness Lodge. Arrive at Kätkävaara Wilderness Lodge and enjoy a festive dinner inspired by northern flavours and traditions, followed by firelight, music and the Finnish New Year custom of lead-free fortune casting for a playful glimpse of the year ahead. Head outdoors for traditional winter activities such as tobogganing, kick sledging and tandem skiing, followed by a festive visit from Santa Claus. Far from city lights, Kätkävaara also offers excellent conditions for spotting the Northern Lights if nature allows. Near midnight, gather for the countdown, fireworks and a toast beneath the Arctic sky, with one sparkling wine or a non-alcoholic alternative included. After the celebration, the shared coach returns to Rovaniemi at approximately 01:30–02:00. Transport is included. **Available on 31 December only. Capacity is limited.**
