Monteverde Cloud Forest / Wildlife Tour / Local Naturalist
Discover the extraordinary biodiversity of the Monteverde Cloud Forest on a small-group guided wildlife and nature walk led by a knowledgeable local naturalist. Explore one of Costa Rica's most iconic cloud forest ecosystems while your guide helps you spot birds, mammals, insects, orchids and other wildlife that can easily go unnoticed without a trained eye. Using professional optical equipment, enjoy closer views of wildlife while learning about the ecology, conservation and natural history of Monteverde. With a maximum of 8 travelers, the experience offers a more personal and educational way to discover the forest. Wildlife sightings vary naturally, making every walk a unique experience. The tour concludes with a visit to the Hummingbird Gallery, an excellent opportunity to observe and photograph some of Monteverde's colorful hummingbirds.
