Navigation to Penguinera Isla Martillo Puerto Almanza
This is a combined experience that merges the best of a land tour with an exclusive, low-impact boat trip. The excursion starts at the Ushuaia tourist pier, where the driver will meet the passengers. The land journey is made in a minivan, offering views of the Carbajal Valley, Cerro Olivia, Cerro Castor, and the winter tourist centers, until reaching Puerto Almanza. There, the crew of Puerto Almanza will receive them and they will board a covered rigid inflatable boat with limited capacity, which allows for a safe approach to marine wildlife. They will navigate through Brown Bay, crossing the Guaraní Passage, until they reach Martillo Island, where they can observe colonies of Magellanic and Gentoo penguins up close in their natural habitat. Schedules subject to modification due to availability of spots.
