Pedasi Whale Watching and Isla Iguana
Humpback whales migrate thousands of kilometers from the cold waters of Antarctica and Chile to the Pacific coast of Panama to give birth to their calves. The waters between El Arenal Beach and Iguana Island provide a vital refuge for them, as they raise their young there before returning south. The whale watching tour in Pedasi is available from July to mid-October. This tour takes you on a covered local boat to observe the whales. Our location is the most affordable place to see whales in Panama. Plus, they are very easy to spot here. It's very rare not to see humpback whales. After whale watching, you can spend the day on Iguana Island.
