The wetlands, which represent 50% of the park's area, are a sanctuary for thousands of aquatic birds, resident and migratory. More than 750 plant species have been identified. Here are also 5 of the 6 mangrove species existing in the country, crocodiles, howler monkeys, white-faced monkeys, we are also going to take a walk in the Bijagua rainforest near the Tenorio volcano to see frogs, snakes, birds, insects, and of course the sloths. We are also going to visit the Llanos del Cortes waterfall where you can bathe and it is very beautiful for photos.
