Responsible Penguin Watching from Puerto Almanza

I discovered the fauna and landscapes of Tierra del Fuego in a responsible penguin watching experience, designed to enjoy Isla Martillo while respecting its natural habitat. The experience begins at our office, in the center of Ushuaia. From there we will travel along National Route 3 and Provincial Route J, crossing mountains, forests, and rivers until we reach Puerto Almanza, facing the Beagle Channel. From there we will sail to Martillo Island. We will approach their coasts to observe the penguins from the boat, without disembarking or walking among them. This modality seeks to reduce human interference and protect the areas where penguins rest, feed, and nest, offering a more respectful and sustainable alternative. You will enjoy approximately 30 minutes of navigation and spotting near the island, always from a safe distance and without disembarking.
