Riisitunturi National Park Adventure Guided Winter Experience
Riisitunturi is famous for its crown snow-load: heavy layers of frost and snow that turn the spruces on the fell into white sculptures, one of the most photographed winter landscapes in Finland. This small-group day trip from Rovaniemi takes you there with a local guide who sets an easy pace for every fitness level and fits you with snowshoes for the snowy trails. Midway through the hike we stop for a traditional Finnish BBQ by the fire with warm drinks, while your guide shares stories about Lapland's nature and way of life.
