Rovaniemi Small Group Evening Snowmobile Safari and Aurora Hunt
Drive your own snowmobile through the dark Arctic wilderness on this 5-hour small-group evening safari from Rovaniemi, and look for the Northern Lights far from the city lights. Groups are limited to 8 travelers, so your English-speaking guide has time for everyone, from first-time drivers to experienced riders. You get 2 to 3 hours of actual driving on quiet forest trails and over frozen lakes, lit only by your headlights and the starry sky. Two adults share one snowmobile and can swap driving halfway; young children ride in a covered sled towed by the guide. All warm winter clothing, boots, gloves and a helmet are included, and we pick you up from your accommodation in Rovaniemi at around 18:00. Along the way your guide stops so you can switch off the engines, enjoy the silence and watch the sky. We also stop by a wilderness campfire for hot drinks and a light snack.
