Small-Group Wild Bear Observatory Watching Tour from Brasov

The forest ranger will meet you right near the old city centre of Brasov in the afternoon and will take you in an air-conditioned minivan or car into the hills of Transylvania, near Brasov. In Romania, more than 5.000 brown bears are living, and we will go to see them in the natural environment. On the way to the forest, you will learn more details about these fascinating animals, what are their habits and how they can become so big. After the arrival, you will go together with the ranger to the observatory where quietly we will wait to start to see the bears. There's around a 90% chance of seeing the enormous animals, and you may be lucky enough to observe everything from large males to mothers playing with their cubs. Besides the bears, we can have the chance to see other wildlife such as boar, roe and red deer, and the game birds are known to live here. Please note: Please wear comfortable shoes, we will need to go from the car to the observatory by walking.
