Sunrise Kelimutu Lakes Tour 2 Days

Flores Island is one of the solitary islands formed by the collision of the Indo-Australian and Eurasian tectonic plates millions of years ago, making Flores part of the Ring of Fire. One of the unique and still-active volcanoes is Mount Kelimutu. Mount Kelimutu is located within Kelimutu National Park. What makes this volcano unique is its three-colored lakes, surrounded by Sokoria forests that are home to endemic flora and fauna. In addition to the three-colored lakes of Kelimutu, the indigenous communities living around Kelimutu National Park are a cultural attraction well worth visiting. They believe that Kelimutu is the place of the spirits of the dead.
