Whale Shark Snorkeling in La Paz
Swim with the largest fish in the ocean, at the surface, in one of the few bays on earth where whale sharks return every season to feed. Departures from downtown La Paz on a small boat with a certified bilingual guide — snorkel equipment, life jacket and all permits and fees included. A regulated encounter, done right: the environmental authority limits how many people may be in the water at a time, and your guide tells you when to enter and when to exit. Those rules are the reason this encounter still exists. Whale sharks are wild animals in open water. Sightings are frequent in season, but never guaranteed — and we would rather tell you that before you book than after.
