Arte de Plumas Birding Lodge

A birding and bird-photography lodge on 65 acres in the hills of Tayutic near Turrialba, 85 percent of it protected primary forest, crossed by streams and waterfalls. The owner, a wildlife photographer, has set up a hummingbird garden, a butterfly garden, feeding stations for small and large birds, photography platforms and seasonal hides, and posts a daily count of the birds seen.
