Kyambura Gorge Lodge

Eight hand-built bandas on the edge of the Kyambura Gorge, a sunken rainforest in Uganda's Queen Elizabeth savanna that is home to an isolated group of chimpanzees, in a former coffee store with views across the savanna to the distant Rwenzori Mountains. The chimpanzee trek starts on the lodge's own footpath down into the gorge, and the rest of the stay runs to walking safaris, birding in the Kyambura wetland, a carnivore census with the Kyambura Lion Monitoring Team and boat trips on the Kazinga Channel, with a spa and a swimming pool back at the lodge. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
