Seward Windsong Lodge

A 216-room lodge on the Resurrection River at mile 0.5 of Exit Glacier Road, on the edge of Chugach National Forest, two miles north of Seward’s small-boat harbor. Rooms and suites in log-furnished buildings set back in the trees, many with decks; Resurrection Roadhouse next door serves breakfast and a tide-to-table dinner, and an hourly shuttle runs to downtown, the harbor and the train. It is the base the operator’s own island lodge recommends for the nights before and after Fox Island, and the natural one for a Kenai Fjords National Park glacier and wildlife cruise, with Exit Glacier up the road. Open mid May to mid September. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
