Singita Kwitonda Lodge
Nine one-bedroom suites and two two-bedroom suites on the edge of Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda, under the Sabyinyo, Gahinga and Muhabura volcanoes, built from volcanic rock, river stone and clay bricks made by the surrounding communities, and planted so the forest will in time reclaim them. The mountain gorilla families of Volcanoes National Park are tracked from the park headquarters a short drive away, and golden monkeys in the bamboo; back at the lodge each suite has fireplaces and a heated plunge pool, buffalo graze the grounds, and the Akarabo Nursery and a farm-to-table garden are on the property. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
