The Lodge at 58° North

A five-cabin fly-out lodge on the Naknek River in Bristol Bay, built in 2022 with clean Scandinavian lines and taking eight to ten guests a week. Every stay includes a private cabin, daily guided fly-out fishing by the lodge’s own floatplane at one guide for every two guests, chef-prepared meals and drinks, and the gear; Katmai National Park and the Becharof refuge are the day trips, with Brooks Falls at its busiest for brown bears in July. The season runs from June to the third week of October. For 2027 the lodge lists six openings between June 10 and July 31, for one to four guests; seasonal weeks go first to returning guests and then to a waitlist, and a small refundable fee holds a place on it. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
