The Springs Resort & Spa
A hot-springs resort on a 165-acre property on a ridge about six kilometres north of Arenal Volcano, looking across the Arenal River valley to the volcano. Its pools are fed by the property's own hot mineral springs: eight of the twelve pools below reception, and seven more along forest trails in the canyon of Perdido Springs. Down at the river, its Club Rio Adventure Center runs a night walk, a dawn bird walk, river tubing and kayaking, horseback riding and a wildlife sanctuary for rescued animals, with trails to natural hot springs at the water's edge. Rooms, suites and villas all have a volcano-view terrace or balcony, and there are five places to eat and a full-service spa. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
