Swim with Orcas in the Fjords of Norway

An in-water orca expedition to a remote fjord system in Norway, based at a house on the fjord at Reinfjord with a private sailboat, skipper and crew at the door and a wood fired sauna. The sail vessel lets the group move to the animals, away from crowds: orca, humpbacks feeding on bait balls, and the northern lights overhead. Two sessions only, four guests each. It is cold and physically taxing: getting in and out of the boat takes some strength and full mobility, and you must be able to swim at least 200 m unassisted. Getting there: fly to Tromsø, then two local speedboats with a connection in Skjervøy. Included: accommodation and full board at the lodge, non-alcoholic drinks, the sailboat and crew, the sauna, snowshoes and professional photos. Not included: flights and transport to and from Tromsø, snorkel gear and neoprene suit, tips and personal expenses. Priced per person in a twin share room; single rooms are limited, at a $500 supplement.
