Sacha Lodge

An all-inclusive jungle lodge inside its own 5,000-acre reserve in the buffer zone of Yasuní National Park, reached by motorised canoe down the Napo from Coca. Guests walk a 275-metre canopy walkway 36 metres up, ride a 45-metre canopy crane, climb the 43-metre Kapok Tower and paddle creeks after monkeys and river otters in groups of no more than six, each led by native and bilingual naturalist guides; seven species of monkeys, three-toed sloths and ocelots share the reserve, and around 600 bird species have been recorded there with no feeders. The Yasuní parrot lick is visited on Wednesdays and Sundays, and a private birding programme with its own guide and canoe can be added. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
