Soneva Fushi

A private island resort on Kunfunadhoo in Baa Atoll, a UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve, reached by a 30-minute seaplane from Malé or by a domestic flight to Dharavandhoo and a short speedboat ride. Villas from one bedroom to nine sit back in the jungle behind the beach or out over the reef, and every villa has bicycles for getting about. The island runs its own coral regeneration programme at AquaTerra, with nursery tours and coral planting open to guests, keeps a Resident Astronomer at The Observatory, and sends snorkellers out to float among manta rays in the plankton-rich waters nearby. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
