Denali Cabins

Forty-six cedar cabins in the trees at Mile 229 of the Parks Highway, eight miles south of the Denali National Park entrance and deliberately away from the canyon strip. Cabins are simple and heated, with private bathrooms and blackout curtains, from a classic for two to a family suite for six; Prey Pub & Eatery is on site and packs boxed lunches ordered the day before, and there are two outdoor hot tubs, a wood-fired sauna, a fire pit and bear spray at the desk. A free shuttle runs to the park visitor center, bus depot and rail depot from seven in the morning to ten at night, and the park bus tours, flightseeing, rafting and sled-dog kennels book from the front desk. Denali itself is not visible from the entrance area. This is also where guests park and check in for the helicopter to Denali Backcountry Lodge. Open mid May to mid September; the 2027 season is June 1 to September 15. Booked for you by an affiliated travel advisor.
