Hotel Termales El Otoño
A hot springs hotel at km 5 on the old road to the Nevado del Ruiz, in Villamaría, about 10 minutes from Manizales and its La Nubia airport. Its thermal water rises from a depth of almost 2,000 metres and reaches the surface at 50 to 68°C; the founder, Don Arturo Gallego, channelled it more than 17 km to the hotel, which grew from a single small pool. Some 150 rooms run from Superior Country cabins in coffee-region style to cabins with a fireplace and a private thermal pool, rooms in a city-style building and a 250 m² presidential suite, and every stay includes breakfast and the hotel's thermal and freshwater pools. There are the Sublime and Origen restaurants, the Bar Sublime, a gym and a tennis court, and, at extra cost, the EcoSpa, the Ecotermales thermal baths next door and the Acquaparque water park.
